2016- a fresh start

Hey guys!! So.. Happy super belated New Year!

I know i'm like 19 days late but uh whatever, better late than never amirite?

2016 has been sooopa grand to me so far and I'm absolutely loving it! To kick it off, I got my O-levels results back and I am (kinda) contented with it :)

So if y'all don't already know, I took my O's in 2014, but failed Maths terribly (E8) so I wasn't qualified to get into AAANNYYY poly :( I made the decision in Jan 2015 to retake Maths & POA (I failed POA too, D7).

I'm gonna like summarise my 2015 so please bear with me if you can, and if not, just totally skip this part.

So throughout my 2015, I stayed at home most of the time, studying by myself (because 1. I can't study with other people as I'm easily distracted and 2. I'm not even allowed to go out). I started going for weekly Maths tuition from Feb onwards, so that gave me like 8 months to improve on my Mathematical skills (which I was severely lacking of) (ehem E8). It was honestly challenging at first, because I only had 1.5hrs of help each week from my teacher, so I had to do aloooot of self-revision and self-practice which took a lot of discipline (which tbh, i'm lacking of). And like.. how do you expect an E8 student to practice by herself even though her foundation is soopa insufficient!! BUT HEY, I MADE IT. I managed  to jump 5 grades and landed a B3!! I was super scared to receive my results because I was preparing myself for a C5/B4, but I was hoping and praying for an A2...
I was aiming for an A, but I was preparing myself for a C. Does that even make sense HAHAHA.
But I'm honestly thankful for getting a B3. My parents are happy with it, therefore I'm contented. :)

For POA, I had trouble looking for a tuition centre because I was taking the old syllabus, which was also the last time it'll be tested! Thankfully,  I found my schoolmate Cheryl who introduced me to Mrs Ho's tuition classes! She charges a little more pricey ($200/4 lessons) as compared to my Maths tuition ($115/month). I kept postponing my POA classes because my parents aren't the most fortunate and we couldn't afford that money :( Thankfully, my bestfriend (or boyfriend, as some would say), gave me $200 to start my POA tuition because there was only 3 months left until my exam and I had 0 knowledge when it came to POA. Thus, I only had 3 months to relearn 2 years worth of POA topics. It was really stressful and I panicked a lot, because I felt lost most of the time, and I was sooo behind Cheryl and the rest of my POA tuitionmates. I've never felt so low before?? :( But woah, I must say, Mrs Ho's tuition is really effective.. like oh my god. She managed to squeeze 2yrs worth of knowledge (theory & practical) into my brain within 3 months, and I managed to jump 4 grades!! D7 to B3, which is good enough for me (although I was again aiming for an A2) (I wanted to get an A for both Maths & Poa hehehe). Super thankful for Benjamin for knocking some sense into me and giving me the financial support to actually start my tuition.. ;_; fhisfjnse so much love for you oh my guuuuuudness.

Okay so my summary of my 2015 struggle is now over, thank you for bearing with me guys <3

So now that it's 2016, I feel the need to like.. idk, start fresh? Like i mean, for real this time.
New house, new school (soon), new environment, new friends, and so much more!!

2016 is gonna be different. It's gonna be a year of change, and I'm so excited.

However, I hope I don't become someone I wouldn't want to be. I mean yeah I'm open to change, but only if it's for the better.. Plus there's Ben, the constant in my ever changing world, always blessed to have him in my life. And of course, not gonna miss out my family (duh). They're my roots- I can never get rid of them even if I wanted to :p jk i love my panganiban fam <3
