So the modern dance SYF was held on the 8th April & we received our results on the 12th.. guess what......
WE GOT CERTIFICATE OF DISTINCTION!!!! :'D that's the gold-gold w honours category :') and i'm really happy because it was the first time the modern dance got something along that category :') really proud of the dancers :') such a great first & last SYF in bds :')
Before the SYF, most of us didn't really expect to get COD, but COA (certificate of accomplishment) instead! When we found out the results...... we practically bawled our eyes out in public out of happiness & relief. :'D
THE FEELING OF ACHIEVING SOMETHING THAT YOU THOUGHT IS IMPOSSIBLE...... best feeling the the world. :')
Oh and we just finished performing for the 33rd speech day in bds on the 19th of april (friday), and the Colours of BDS concert which was yesterday (20th april).
We performed as the flashmobbers as part of ms soh's group of sec 1s-sec 5s for the speech day :) ME, HUDA & HANNAH WORE PYJAMAS cos we cool like that ah. HAHAHA lol joke of the day. (but srs though.)
SO FOR THE COLOURS OF BDS CONCERT....... it was just amazing. we had to report to school by 7.30am eventhough the concert starts at 6.30pm XD HAHAHA! we had quite a number of rehearsals & run-throughs on the day itself, which was why we had to report so early. well actually 7.30am is just for the dance society members because we had to do our hair & whatnots. the rehearsal at school started at about 10.30am! we left bds for plmgs (paya lebar methodist girls' school). THE SCHOOL IS FREAKING AMAZING. IT WAS HUGE. LIKE HUUUUUUGE HUGE. ABOUT TWICE OF BDS (ok not rlly, but it's just daamn big.)
THERE WAS AN AIRCONDITIONED HALL, AND A FREAKING CONCERT HALL/AUDITORIUM. our performance was held inside the concert hall/auditiorium room. IT WAS ACTUALLY BIG but quite narrow though! BUT IT'S OK. THEIR SCHOOL IS AMAZING ;_; hais. //jealous// I HOPE MS FUN STARTS INSTALLING AIRCONDITIONERS INSIDE THE HALL & ISH! (and maybe classes too if can ah) ;) HAHAHA ok lol dream on la carla. haiyo.
COLOURS OF BDS CONCERT WAS MADAFARIKING AMAZING. idk why i spelled mother freaking as madafariking but oh well deal with it. :> HAHAHA. still having the colours of bds concert fever. HAIS. why can't it happen more often and not once every two years......... ;_; sigh pie.
it was seriously amazing. the audience were very responsive and they cheered for us which actually boosts our confidence :'D HAHAHA YAY i love bds (especially those who came for the concert HEHEHE jkjk)
that's not actually it, but lol i have my own private & personal reasons why i'm happy ;) HAHAHA kidding.. (or am i)..
