Dance Central Experience

DANCE CENTRAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012

 I joined the "Dance Central Championships 2012" which was hosted earlier this year in Singapore. HAHA i didn't win, but i got into the Semi Finals & oh i forgot to mention that i was only 13 when i took part.. and i was in the Adults category because the maximum age for the junior category was 12.. So.. yay me.. I was the youngest competitor in the adults category, but still managed to get into the Semi Finals. YAY!! That's actually a huge accomplishment for me. ^o^ I even got a really cool elbow-sleeved shirt (i have no idea what you call it). The sleeves were purple & the body was white with words saying something like "I've outdanced almost everyone" at the front. SO YEAH I SUCK AT DESCRIBING STUFFS BUT I'LL TAKE A PICTURE OF IT SOMEDAY & UPDATE THIS POST NEXT TIME. Oh and the Semi Finals took place at Plaza Singapura.

I didn't actually take a picture of the place but YAY i found a picture of how it looked like during the competition itself! So.. yup. A stage in the middle of a mall, where everyone could see you.. And me.. dancing ALONE on a stage for the first time infront of the judges and such a huge crowd . It took alot of guts okay :(

So i'm really really reaaaally bored, explains why i'm blogging about this.. even though it's actually unusual for me to blog my opinions about.. games.
But fret not guys, this isn't like one of those really professional reviews (like duh), it's just me saying my true opinions about the game.
Okay so from the title of this post, you guys probably know what game i'll be talking about... Or do you? :| Hmm, if you don't then let me explain to guys what game i'm talking about.

TA-DAH! Dance Central 3 for the Xbox 360 Kinect!

My dad got it for me as a surprise welcome-home gift after my PL camp. isn't he just awesome?! Actually, i've just heard about the newest Dance Central 3 just recently from my dad, i said i wanted it but i didn't expect him to buy it to me so quickly!! :') So yup, this baby of mine is only about a week old :)))
I actually have Dance Central 1, 2 & 3 (which is like the whole set so far), but i gave my Dance Central 1 to my cousins who live in the Philippines! :D

So as you can tell guys, i'm a really big fan of the Dance Central games :'D It's like the only game i play on my Kinect, my brother plays action-games which.. i'm not really interested in :P

Dance Central is the best-selling game for the Xbox 360 Kinect too! THAT JUST PROVES HOW AWESOME IT IS.

Overall review of Dance Central 1/2/3:
-Really good quality
-The audio is like.. perfection
-There's a wide range of characters, difficulty levels & songs to dance to.
-It's really addictive
-It's suitable for like.. all ages
-It makes you exercise in the funnest (is that a word?) way possible

I know it sounds like the perfect game for everyone which it is, but.. i'm not even exaggerating. And all these comes from a 14 y.o girl who enjoys dancing but not exercising. Okay maybe not EVERYONE will like it, because.. you know.. some people actually hate dancing for some reasons.. but, if you're looking for a fun way to kill your time (instead of sleeping/eating/surfing the net all day), or a fun way to get fit, then.. TA-DAH. Dance Central is the ultimate package for you! :) YOU SHOULD GET IT. I FREAAAAAKING RECOMMEND IT TO E V E R Y O N E. :')

Okay anyway, back to the topic (Dance Central 3). So if you're wondering what the differences between Dance central 3 & the other 2, well, i can't actually say all of them because.. you know, i don't actually analyse everything about them, but from a general viewpoint, here are some of the things i like LOVE about DC3!

• Dance Central 3 have the latest songs. Like.. literally. It even have the super popular 'Gangnam Style'! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!
• Each of the games (DC1,DC2,DC3), have stories, & in my opinion, Dance Central 3 have the best one! I just tried the Story Mode of DC3, and.. woah. Even though it requires you to dance for more than an 1hr, (which, believe me, will make you feel like you just ran 3km non-stop), you wouldn't want to stop & you'll be continuing until the story ends.. (well that's what i did, i'm not too sure if everybody else will do that). The story is just so.. interesting. It makes me feel like i'm actually living in the game.. living in the game? omg idk if you guys get what i'm trying to say, but if you do, good for you! Oh and don't get me wrong guys, DC1 & DC2 have really interesting stories too! But i think DC3 is still DA BOMB. 
• DC3 HAVE SUPER NICE CLOTHES FOR THE CHARACTERS/DANCERS!!! Okay sorry for my sudden caps, but.. IHDFKS AHHH!! I just love it when there's new/nicer/more appealing clothes for them :') I love dressing them up HAHA. 
• OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION THAT the steps in DC3 are much harder/advanced compared to DC1&DC2. Don't get me wrong guys, the HARD mode in DC1&DC2 are quite a challenge as well, but in DC3.. well, it's a different situation. The hardest song/dance routine in DC3 is probably 'OMG' by Usher. The easy mode is still easy, the medium is manageable, but the Hard mode is.. IT'S JUST PLAIN HARDCORE. I normally score around 2million+ on my first attempts at the HARD mode in DC1&DC2, but when i first attempted the hard mode for OMG, i only scored like.. 600k ;_; *sobs* I was actually really surprised by how advanced DC3 has gotten, but.. THAT'S A GOOD THING. It makes people go out of their comfort zone, you know what i'm saying? XD And the really hard dance routines in DC3 are really.. really really hard. Don't underestimate them, alright. (that's what i did at first but.. i was proved wrong.) So if DC1/DC2 has been manageable for you so far, you should try DC3!
